In the function of "Sattapadi Kutram" which is being directed by Vijay's Father Mr. S.A Chandrasekharan a heated debate picked about IlayaThalabathy entering politics. Seeman who is already floating a political party called Naam Tamilar requested Vijay to enter Tamil Nadu Politics. Sathyaraj went a step further and compared Vijay to M.G.R who also had huge popularity and became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Watch the heated debate below:

Vijay delivered a thunderous speech against Sri Lanka which has been killing Tamil Fishermen from Tamil Nadu. Sri Lanka which tops the list of failed nations has consistently shown a racist, chauvinist mentality against Tamils.

Previously, the Sri Lankan government successfully performed a genocide on Eelam Tamils who were fighting against the oppressive sinhalese government. Now Sri Lanka has brazenly started killing Tamils from across the border. Vijay has delivered on if the fieriest speeches ever in Nagapattinam about the killings of Tamil Fishermen. Thousands and thousands of Vijay Fans gathered to hear his speech. Some interesting parts of his speech were:

1. We will wipe Sri Lanka of the world map.

2. We are tiger cubs.

3. If we hit you back, you (Sri Lanka) won't be able to bear it.

IlayaThalabathy urged his fans to send telegrams to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and the Prime Minister of India about these brutalities.

A minute's silence was also observed in memory of Parvathi Amma (Hon. Velupillai Prahakaran's mother), Pandian and Jayakumar.
