Shankar's next venture with Vijay?
We all know that Shankar is working with Superstar for Endhiran which is going to be released this Diwali. Just one more song and then it goes into the final cut. Our thalabathy Vijay's movie "3 Idiots" rights has been bought by Gemini labs for a whopping undisclosed amount. We came to know that sometime back Director Shankar has told Gemini Labs that he will do a movie for them after the completion of Endhiran.
We have heard from reliable sources that it could be in fact be tamil "3 Idiots". We all know that Shankar has repeatedly said in his previous interviews that if the story suits, he will direct Vijay someday. Now that the story, actor and production house has all been confirmed, we are expecting that it would be Director Shankar who will be directing Vijay in his next movie.
What a breakthrough it would be for Vijay. We would be able to see our Thalabathy in so many different styles with super hit songs from AR Rehman. Of course it would be AR Rehman who will be composing for shankar's movie. I'm sure that Shankar will bring all the hidden talents of Vijay.

Americans dancing for Vijay! Simply Amazing!
While browsing through Youtube, we accidentally found this awesome piece of work. Two Young American girls dancing for Vijay's Thaam Thakka Song from Thirumalai. This is not just some random dancing away, but looks like they are dancing EXACTLY like Vijay and Lawrence. Just look at the coordination at 2:40 in the video, they must have put in a load of effort. Is n't it just amazing that Ilaya Thalabathy is capable of influencing everyone who watches his movies?

Vijay Birthday Celebration!
Vijay celebrated his birthday, as usual by helping the people who needed it. Vijay and his fans were actively involved in contributing to the community.
Vijay was actively involved in the following:
Education:
Donating Computers to poor, but smart kids: Vijay and his fans were involved in distributing computers to many young kids who needed computers. Vijay himself is online few hours a day and spends lot of time browsing the internet.
Notebooks Distribution: Vijay fan clubs distributed notebooks in the name of Ilaya Thalabathy Vijay to the kids in their community. This was not only happening in Tamil Nadu, but also in many parts of Kerala.

Medical Aid:
Eye donations: Vijay fans have been actively campaigning with eye donation forms to collect as many people as they can to donate eyes. It is said that 80% of his new fans have submitted their own eye donations.
Blood Donations: In many different regions of Tamil Nadu, blood donation camps were busy with Vijay fans donating blood. The youngsters seem to be doing with a great enthusiasm.
Vaccination for infants: In the pictures, you can see Vijay himself formally inaugurating the vaccination camp. Many infants were vaccined against prevalent diseases.
Other activities:
Vijay donated gold rings to newborn babies in Chennai Government Hospital. He has also selected a young boy, Pandiya Raajan who has excelled in his studies. Vijay has promised to the young kid that he will support him to become a doctor. Pandiya Raajan managed to become the best student in his school, but badly needs financial help to pursue his higher studies.
Vijay and his fans have done a very good job of helping the community! Keep it up Vijay & us (the fans)!!

Ilayathalabathy Vijay is getting a massive increase of enrollment of fans in Kerala! While Vijay movies have always been a hit kerala, since the movie GILLI, it has seen an explosion of fans in Kerala. From Major Cities like Trivandrum and Cochin to even remote villages in Kerala, Vijay Fan Associations have propped up everywhere.

Vijay has been getting multiple calls to be as a guest in TV programs, etc. Vijay himself seems to be very willing to participate in a lot of malayalam programs, encouraging the vijay fans in Kerala. There are some honest encouraging comments which we came across and it makes us happy as a fellow Vijay's fan. At the same time, we have received some comments which are very offensive. But we will not say that they are discouraging at all. In fact, it shows how much you all care about him, how much you all want him to give good movies, how much you all want him to see his movies run for 100 days in packed houses. There is an old proverb which comes to my mind at this time. It goes "We get mad at others because we care about their success and we dont want them to fail." How so true in this case!
We would also like to thank those persons who care about our Vijay - i mean who gave negative comments about our Thalaivar. Its people like you whose comments are so valuable because they act as a motivation and a driving force to keep the spirits up for Vijay and as well as for us.
It is during the tough times, and when circumstances in life knocks us down, and when we lie on the ground with the dirt on our face, that we must gather all our strength to get up so that we can knock back the enemy and the obstacles in our life. Because when we give up our loyalty and heart during failures, it actually proves that we did not possess those qualities.

No, this is not just another blog that blindly praises Vijay. If you read our posts carefully, we do not try to hide even negative comments and if you want as an honest reader show your opinion in the poll section.
And no, we are talking about Vijay ruling the tamil film industry. Whether he will ever jump into politics is by all means an open question.
So why is Vijay undoubtedly the next superstar of Tamil Nadu? Here is why:
Persistence after failure:
When Vijay was introduced in the movie "Naalaya Theerpu" in 1992, did anyone dream that Vijay had a career in Film Industry? Was the movie a success? Did Vijay receive any appreciation in any magazine? None! But what did he do right after that? He simply went on to act movie after movie until a movie became a success. This is the real quality of a winner. He never gave up, and with superb tenacity he just persisted. In face of failure, he simply tries harder, acts in more movies.
Looking younger and better, year after year:
Let us compare him with his top contender Ajith. When they both started out, Ajith was the Icon among the ladies, simply because he looked way better than Vijay. Year after year, while Ajith was struggling with his weight and his other vices, Vijay , stuck to his diet, his work out schedule, and now he looks much, much better than most other contenders.
